I posted this a few weeks ago. No one replied. Surely someone might have
heard something???

This may have been covered before at some stage, but in episode 2.11
"The Berrisford Agenda" where Alec plays the piano, he does it pretty
well. Anyone know if he actually played in that scene? He might not have
actually played that song, but from the looks of things he was no
stranger to the piano in any case.
I thought it was done well though anyway.

Jensen isn't a pianist, but on the DVD commentary they talked about how well
and how realistically he was able to mimic playing with his hands. So it
wasn't actually him playing (the piece was a Chopin prelude,, I think, and you
don't exactly learn to play something like that in a day!) but it was his
hands. Just goes to show how intelligent he is. I always felt he was one of
the best actors--and assets--on the show.
